Material,                  1,          Gemstones.
Gemstones are the earth’s crystalline archives. Formed by alchemy, and cut andpolished to capture light, to Camille they are journeys of expertise andgeological wonder. Camille Beinhorn jewelry incorporates corundums (ruby and sapphire) (01), beryls (emerald) (02), spinel (03), and tourmaline (04), and additional rare gemspecies procured by Camille and expert gemologists throughout Asia at source. Every gemstone is meticulously evaluated for its unique character - the fire, flash, or glow, held within each facet.

(01) The corundum mineral species includes rubies and sapphires. Camille Beinhorn curates fiery rubies and kaleidoscopic sapphires ranging from vitreous, to bi-color and rare ‘star’ varieties with aligned shiny rutile needles, or ‘silk’, formed through exsolution.
(02) The beryl family of precious minerals includes emerald and aquamarine. The lush green hue of the emerald comes from chromium and vanadium contained within its crystal structure. Camille Beinhorn emeralds are chosen for their richness of color and ‘jardin’.
(03) The spinel has a deep intensity of color. Like diamonds, spinels are singly refractive and highly transparent; they sparkle brighter. Camille Beinhorn prefers sought-after Burmese, Mahenge and Vietnamese sources in ripe, effervescent reds and pinks, and cobalt-bearing blue varieties.
Material,                  2,          Diamonds.
The diamond is the most precious ancient gemstone. Camille Beinhorn jewelry is designed with predominantly antique diamonds mined and cut pre-1930s, treasured as artefacts of history, and for their individualized sparkle. Measurement by sight and cutting by hand (01) captures the visceral quality of a diamond, telling a story of human touch over machine precision.

(01) Camille Beinhorn selects reclaimed diamonds that are often ‘old European cut’ or ‘old minecut’, for greater fire and depth.
Material,                  3,          Gold.
Forged in stars older than Earth, and delivered by ancient meteors, gold is a fragment of the cosmos to grace the body. A material radiating with thesun’s luster, it is sought for its purity and strength. Each piece of Camille Beinhorn jewelry is hand-fabricated in 22 karat gold (01), incorporating design elements drawn from the lattice of the ancient world: weaving chain, granulation, and bezel setting.

(01) 22 karat gold is 22/24ths pure gold. Camille Beinhorn jewelry alloys pure gold with exacting small proportions of silver and copper for durability while maintaining its precious nature.
