Camille studied jewelry crafts after completing her degree in fine art. During her time at Jewelry Arts Institute in New York she trained in ancient handworked gold techniques. She traveled to Bangkok to the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences, reviving memories of a childhood spent in South East Asia. 

She works from Los Angeles. The California light sharpens her experience of color. To bring her works to life she travels the world to personally source gems and regularly visits the artisans who make Camille Beinhorn pieces in Jaipur, India. Camille designs delicate and extraordinary pieces to highlight quotidian beauty, “somewhere for light to land.”
